On the ending of the segment, the Judge was talking to this news anchor on the debt ceiling. She was arguing that it was okay to raise it as we could always rollover the existing bond maturities from last year to cover the cost. I to argued the Irrelevancy of the debt ceiling, but from a very different angle – http://www.peacefreedomprosperity.com/?p=3872. In the article i wrote about how we did not have enough bonds maturing to cover last years expenditures (falling short by over 2.3 trillion), thus making it completely irrelevant as to whether we raise the ceiling this year or not. We could not meet last years expenditures, and have yet to have the consequences from that set in. I did not make this number up, and actually pulled it from the treasury departments website (links to the exact page are in the article i mentioned).

So I cannot help but wonder how this news anchor could say something as ignorant as she did. I grew even more worried when the judge said that he respected her views and often relied on them to keep him informed. This means to the viewer that the Judge could quite possibly agree on her take of things (that it was ok to raise the debt ceiling because it could easily be covered).Elizabeth McDonald i think her name was.

This bothers me, it really does. I wrote to the judge via his website, forwarding him the link to the article i had wrote. That was about a week ago and of course my email will never make it past the gate keepers.

I am not asking much people, but if anyone has the ability to get this info out, please do – things are bad enough now, and are about to get far worse. Thank you.

"To preserve [the] independence [of the people,] we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt. We must make our election between economy and liberty, or profusion and servitude. If we run into such debts as that we must be taxed in our meat and in our drink, in our necessaries and our comforts, in our labors and our amusements, for our callings and our creeds, as the people of England are, our people, like them, must come to labor sixteen hours in the twenty-four, give the earnings of fifteen of these to the government for their debts and daily expenses, and the sixteenth being insufficient to afford us bread, we must live, as they now do, on oatmeal and potatoes, have no time to think, no means of calling the mismanagers to account, but be glad to obtain subsistence by hiring ourselves to rivet their chains on the necks of our fellow-sufferers." –Thomas Jefferson to Samuel Kercheval, 1816. How can they claim that it has no medicinal value, and then have the FDA approve Marinol for medicinal use. Marinol is 100% THC. If the plant has no medicinal value, how can Marinol? What is the difference, other than the fact that a pharmaceutical firm is making money from Marinol, but there is no money to be made by the pharmaceutical industry from the actual plant.
