Holy crap, the liberals were infuriating on this episode. Just Nauseating. When that bitch kept screaming about how there could be no reason to take up arms against the government, it occurred to me that she, and her liberal pal that followed after her ARE THE REASONS! They are the ones who want the government to tell everyone else how to live. Listen up! If you don't want to see an armed resistance against the government, then stop advocating their intrusion into every aspect of MY LIFE! Mind your own fucking business, and stop expecting the government to mess with mine.

It is amazing to watch the government lovers spew their attempted logic with straight faces. Government has never been tyrannical? Government should be able to tell us how to live? Government should send people endless paychecks not to work? These people are the primary reason that we should get the government out of the education business. It has provided horrible education, creating a country of lazy, entitled idiots!

Kevin, Good job. Most of these folks want us to wait until the government is knocking down our doors and dragging us off to jail before they do anything.By then its to late to protect ourselves. Wisdom and discernment are our most effective tools against the government. That wisdom is expressed in our constitution to bare arms. Our forefathers knew this.

From William Blackstones' Commentaries (and he was no bomb throwing radical)

    5. THE fifth and laft auxiliary right of the subject, that I shall at present mention, is that of having arms for their defense, suitable to their condition and degree, and such as are allowed by law. Which is also declared by the fame statute 1 W. & M. ft. 2. c. 2. and is indeed a public allowance, under due restrictions, of the natural right of resistance and self-preservation, when the sanctions of society and laws are found insufficient to restrain the violence of oppression. Vol 1 Ch1 sec 5 Please Judge, get someone on who KNOWS THE LAW!

Nancy Skinner seems to think, like a previous poster said, that only when the government starts shooting people in their homes (which they have already done) is it then time to resist. The previous poster is right – it is too late by that time.

The time to resist, and send an unmistakable message, is at the first usurpation of our rights, not as a last resort. It is way too late when your ability to resist has been largely nullified either by restrictions or by popular opinion.

No, Ms. Skinner, you are horribly wrong. As Dr. Williams said, it is not a first resort, but the threat of armed resistance should always be an implicit possibility. We have been cowed over a span of centuries to forego this valid option of redressing our grievances.
