MARIACHI

One of the most popular beats in Mexico is the Mariarchi. When we say music in Mexico, it is perhaps one of the first beats that comes into mind. The Mariarchi is often played during weddings which can explain its name that rooted from the French term mariage meaning marriage. Nonetheless, the Mariarchi music is also played in many occassions, usually to serenade women usually on their birthdays, most especially on girls’15th birthday parties and mother’s day. The NORTEÑO (GRUPERO)

The Norteno music is brought to Northern Mexico from England, a music that combines the accordion and the bajo sexto or a twelve string guitar. The tempo of this type of Mexican music is fast. The Tejano or Tex-Mex music had always been mistakenly thought as the Norteno music but in fact it is a combination of the Norteno, American rock, and country music.

RANCHERA

The Ranchera music showcases conventional folklore. Its songs are generally about nature, patriotism, and love. “El Grito Mexicano” a holler that is carried out throughout instrumental interludes possibly by the performers or by the audience is normal in Ranchera music. Ranchera had been based on the term “rancho” for the reason that music came from the rural Mexican ranches. Ranchera music is diverse and can also be like the beat of bolero, polka, or waltz.

Even though the folks of Mexico enjoy music coming from around the globe as well as create their very own varieties of contemporary music, conventional Mexican music remains extremely popular with the Mexicanos in various age groups, enjoying the music through good audio capacitors. These traditional types of Mexican tunes are unquestionably vibrant, full of love and have been developed in the roots of this country rich in culture.
