I have been a Ron Paul supporter for nearly two decades. Clearly, the acceptance of Dr. Paul's libertarian principals are a direct result of a significant change in the national political mindset. It is difficult to imagine that this paradigm shift could have occurred without the arrival of an uncensored and free internet, untainted by government interference. This gave a new generation, now in their twenties and thirties, a chance to alter their awareness, participate in political debate and provide intellectual resources to help influence the American political psyche.

I just watch the program 5/11/11 and commenst about insider trading should not be illegal about Raj Rajaratnam. There is no question this guy belongs in jail for a long time. Don't try to whitewash white collar crime is not like some violent crimmal. This guys ruin lives. Maybe you should have invested all you money with Madoff. This man is certainly not a capitalist, maybe a facist or a weird socialist. I can't think of something more contrary to free enterprise. How can you have capitalism when you people manipulated markets? Doesn't capitalism only work when there is free competition , free information for all. As soon as those thing go away because of manipaltion you have monolopies, ponzi schemes al lthe abuse of greed. But he says it is OK who does it hurt? Anytime market are manipulated they are winners & losers. Then he implies we aren't smart enough to the insider info because we are not on Wall Sreet? We are all peons not ment to compete with the royallty of Wall street. It is time to reign it in. We wouldn't have the melt down in 2007 if we didn't take away all the rules over 20 years. Capitalism is very imperfect and need some controls, but the best thing out there.

What a crock!!!! I just finished watching the clip about the post office!!!! Judge Napolitano you need to check your info before you air it on national television!!!!! We do not and have not accepted money from the government in decades. We are not funded by any tax or government fund. We are a non-profit business who makes payroll, etc with revenue from stamps and postage!!!!! The only thing that is making us show a deficit is the $5.5 billion dollars that we are required to put into a prefunded retirement account every fall….which by the way is ten times higher than any other government regulated company!!! That is right we are regulated by the government since the 70s but not funded by or through the government or taxes… And by the way, we do have guaranteed 2 day delivery…..guaranteed or your money back!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is just one of many sites that report the truth instead of distorted facts!!!!
the Postal Reorganization Act of 1970….41 years ago…..turned the Post Office from a normal government ran agency into a self-generated non-profit organization!!!!

These comments are in reference to the 5/11/11 episode that is not yet posted online!!!!

Ron paul IN 2012, Obama OUT 2012. In the fifty years that I've been playing in this dog and pony game called voting, I have never seen a polititian lie as much as Obama did to con the people into voting for him, ATT filabuster, close Gitmo, public option, end Iraq war, end Afgan war, transparent administration, ( Yeah Right ), change we can believe in, etc. etc. etc.

You must not have been watching in 2000 and 2004. Also, I don't think it's accurate to categorize as "lies" all of the Bush policies and initiatives you listed above that Obama hasn't been able to undo in 2 years. I have no idea what being a war with two countries involves, but I'm pretty sure we couldn't have just walked away on Jan 20th, 2008.

Amen. I logged on to write exactly what you wrote. I'm so disappointed in the Judge for putting on such a shoddy show without any fact check or rebuttal from Postal Officials. If Congress would stop meddling and restraining the business, we could make money or at least break even and operate. Why is the public not so outraged at the bailouts for private businesses then they fall to pieces when the suggestion comes that congress get their hands from around our neck.

You are somewhat correct, but I can see that you are twisting the truth. As you have informed us, the reason why the post office is running deficits is due to its retirement obligations. However, you fail to mention that the post office is receiving tax money from the Treasury Department. So the USPS is receiving money from the taxpayer. Also, if you work for the post office, then why must you research your own organization from outside sources? Don't you already have inside information to learn and understand the organization?

Where are the newest show updates?? Is the same person running this site and the glenn beck site? I know that site is going through major transitions – so that might be why this site has been a bit neglected — Just looking for some info…

Yes Alex23, I do work for the post office! I have for almost 13 years!!!! You too need to check your so called facts before you began informing others! Yes we have borrowed some money to help with cost, but we have not been given anything!!! Our revenue dropped by $67.05 billion in 2010 because of email and the economy; however we have only had a -$8.51 billion in net income. I would say that we would have been successful in cutting back to try to compensate for the drop in revenue. And if we were not required to drop another $5.5 billion in our FERS retirement fund and maybe got a portion of our $75 billion that we have overpaid into CSRS retirement fund back we would be making money!!!! We haven't even spoke about how gas prices have effected us!!!! We have the largest civilian vehicle fleet in the world…last year we used 444 million gallons of gas. I"ll let you do the math on that!!!!
Why don't you try posting some proof of what you think you know!!!

here is you some proof about the $75 billion that we have overpaid:

    check it out!!!
It will tell you from a reliable source…not just some body with diarrhea of the mouth…….that we have over paid our Civil Service Retirement Fund by $75 billion since 1972….and congress being aware of this since 2004 has refused to refund any of this overpayment!!!
Oh, by the way, I go to outside sources to get my information because when I am at work I am working!!!! The average carrier walks at least 7 miles a day and has many corns and backaches!!!! We don't have time to stand around talking about the economy and such on the clock!!!!!

  13. Alex23 Said,

    May 18, 2011 @ 11:36 pm

Tamala, here is one of my sources

Please, don't give that BS on how funding is different from borrowing. Funds are funds whether it is credit or earnings. And by the way, your organization should not be receiving tax payers money for its incompetence. In a business setting, no sane bank or investor would fund an organization that was constantly loosing money. So why should we fund your nonprofit? Should not the USPS fail or succeed based on its own merits?

Also, if you work for the post office for almost 13 years you should already have vast knowledge of your organization. Most people, that work for an organization for over 10 years, know their organization's corporate structure, culture, key people, and any news concerning the organization. It does not matter if you work or not work to gain the information. You being part of the organization already gives you vast amounts of knowledge and information that an outsider does not have.

I have to agree with Chicagoan123. We could have easily walked away from the war a couple of years ago.
