I view Neal Boortz with a good deal of affection, like a high school teacher who
planted a thought and changed my political awareness. Mr. Boortz introduced me to
libertarianism and I remain grateful but his limited intellect and could take me no further. For my undergraduate and post-graduate education, I turned to Harry Browne, Ron Paul, Lew Rockwell, Nick Gillespie and other masterfully astute libertarians.

Disappointingly, Boortz and his radio program is largely insignificant, except
perhaps for his obsession with his controversial Fair Tax. A significant amount of this radio show is contaminated by trivial, personal concerns and caustic, theatrical antics. Principled libertarians should not forget Boortz's eight years as a turncoat during the George W. Bush administration. One libertarian observer during this time period noted that Boortz represented the fascist wing of the Libertarian Party.
