12/10/2010 Freedom Watch w/ Michele Bachmann, Gary Johnson, Peter King, more

Here is Friday night’s edition of Freedom Watch with Judge Napolitano.

  1. Jean Said,

    December 11, 2010 @ 2:38 am

Judge, after watching the closing of this show, I say to heck with some of the portions of the show, (Freedom Fighters for example), and take that time, and use it for commentary on the issues. Everytime you do this, on whatever issue you discuss, it's always a grand slam.
Keep up the good work, and I hope your ratings are going thru the roof. You sir, are doing an invaluable service to lovers of liberty!!!!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you Judge Andrew Napolitano!!!

Damn right Judge-self defense is a natural, inalienable human right, and the second amendment says very clearly that it 'SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED',what happened to Brian Aitken is what happens when we allow the government to say that 'SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED' is somehow subject to 'reasonable regulation',as in Heller vs. DC.

'Gun control' is Constitutionally illegal and illegitimate-free Brain Aitken NOW!!!!

I like Gary Johnson on a lot of issues. I hope he does run for the White House. I was happy to hear him talk about cutting govt. spending. Unfortunately, so many of his interviews focus only on the drug issue. I thought I read that Mitch Daniels and Haley Barbour also agree that military spending, medicare, social security, etc. must be cut. I hope they all hop on that bandwagon. We need to be serious about cutting down on spending- that is far more important than tax cuts (although I like them too!)

Judge, I met you at the first Campaign for Liberty event in St. Louis. After your speech, which included a few choice comments on the 2nd Amendment, I thought you should run for President.

  5. W. Talley Said,

    December 12, 2010 @ 10:42 pm

Judge, I agree with blackseabrew. You should run for President!

    Patriots can disagree.

There is no difference between a democrat and a republican. Both are little more than logos to give simple minded, Lazy Americans who are too busy watching TV or expressing their "exceptional ism" to be bothered with the obligations of citizenship that a simple throw of the DieBold switch to give their proxy to a congressional bag man to fight the forever war against the evils threatening Oceania.

Weak Leaks is a CIA false flag operation. It's purpose is to ultimately close the internet. A smart thinking self acclaimed patriot such as you Judge, should of known that. When information is published in the Ny Times, it's because the fraudsters we pretend are our government employees want it published in the NY Times. Assange is a CIA operative. He is no here. Heroes never make it to the NY Times. They are usually found hung in a wood shed behind Moma's house with a typed suicide note.

The estate tax is designed to prevent overly inbred, therefore weak of mind, would be kings to re-establish an aristocracy. Sooner or later, the Bastille will be razed, and the inbred fools, who would be kings, will again loose their heads.

We can re-boot – and do it the hard way and fill the sewers with blood. There are about a 1000 individuals in DC and New York that need to be prosecuted. Blood Justice or Constitutional Justice. Which one would you prefer judge?

Besides, the estate tax on applies to .25 less than one quarter of one percent of the population. In a majority rule republic, it is better to return the wealth to the commoners than become meat on their spits.

When you argue to eliminate the estate tax, Judge, you are arguing to establish an aristocracy. You are arguing to grant relief to less than 1% of the population. That argument, if successful will lead to a revolution of the likes the world has never seen. The last group of people in the world one should tempt are the spawn of ancestors that waved the banner of a rattle snake with the words, "Don't Tread On Me".

I don't get judge – why are you arguing on behalf of a gentry so wealthy they could own you and your words?

The issue is crime. The extortion and war crime that began with the invasion of Iraq. The extortion through the fraud of the Crotch Bomber, who, in State Department official Patrick Kennedy's testimony to congress where he gave evidence the only reason the state department approved a VISA, and took the Crotch Bomber off the no fly list, was because HLS demanded it be done. Who's making all the money from the scanners that followed the HLS Crotch Bomber theater of the Absurd? None other than Dual citizen and former HLS fuhrer M Chertoff.

I disagree with your assertion that the Estate Tax is a scheme to deny pro

Judge, I agree with Jean in that the Freedom Fighters section of the show is pretty much useless and irritating too. Would be better to spend that time with guests that are really in the know.
Michele Bachmann who I would really like to trust, never really answers the questions directly. Worrisome!
Also, Very much hope you run for president or at least vice to Ron Paul!

    @ Throb,
My advise to you is to learn about the concept of the libertarian non-aggression principle.
Taxes are theft, including the estate-tax. This is not a matter of "who benefits" or "who could use support/money etc". This isn't utilitarian (doing what's best for the most amount of people), it's moral (either an action is moral or immoral). A monopoly on violence (government) using coercion to rob someone (taxes) is immoral, period. Therefor, all taxes are immoral. Any man has a right to determine what happens to his property after he dies.
As far as Wikileaks is concerned, the Judge doesn't "need" to know they are a false flag operation, since this is nothing more than conspiracy-thinking driven speculation, and not proven fact. There is nothing to "know", only to "suspect" and even then only on the basis of theory, not any kind of objective evidence.
Turning "Freedom Watch" into another Alex Jones type show is counterproductive as if will chase off sane-thinking libertarians.

Judge, please do not lump Ms. Bachmann in with principled libertarians such as Ron Paul. However well intended you seek to be, this seemingly benign inclusion does a grave disservice to Dr. Paul, all ethical libertarians who support him and the causes of freedom, liberty and personal responsibility Representative Paul fights so selflessly and intensely to preserve.

Mr. Schaffer has the right model in his message about liberty and the central bank but the quotation he evoked belongs to a different make, not a Ford but a Lincoln.

    December 17, 2010 @ 3:59 am

please, no more of the israel first scumbag neocon peter king, the ahole who wants jonathan pollard pardoned, i say lock king up with the scumbag, and all of the traitors in congress who want him released

  12. Rexi Said,

    December 17, 2010 @ 1:26 pm

I too, would like to hear more of Johnson's opinions on various issues. At least though, we know that as president, he wouldn't be spending billions of tax dollars on a wasteful "drug war."

  13. Rexi Said,

I grant that wealth buys political power, but the solution to that is to implement Libertarian ideals. The government only does what the constitution mandates that the government do. Therefore, when you pass on wealth to successive generations, you are merely passing on money and not political power. Limit the government and limit it's influence in our lives, and money and political power cease to be correlated.
