Why is this one such a low quality video?

Sorry, Judge, but you have conflated principle and reality. If torture is ever used contrary to the 4th ( and 5th and 6th, too) Amendment, then bring the perpetuators to justice. Do NOT disregard reality or refuse to recognize any facts thereby obtained. Facts are facts and criminal behavior is just that; do not confuse the two.

As a scientist, I recognize too well  that any willful disregard of reality can only lead to unfortunate consequences, even disaster. This disregard is a major failing of our legal system: reality is often forced to play second fiddle to form: the Law should never, never be placed higher than reality in spite of what professors of law may believe.

Accept the evidence but verify it. However, severely prosecute those who may have violated the Constitution, but NEVER turn a blind eye to any evidence, facts, or reality. Such a prescription will do more to prevent torture or enhanced interrogation than any passionate rhetoric offered by any progressive or even a reasoned libertarian.

BTW,  love Freedom Watch and your adamant libertarianism, you are a joy to behold and a true patriot!

Your approach seems to be "torture first, ask questions later". That's a surefire recipe for tyranny.

Number one! There's a reason Judge has this show and you don't.>> He knows more than you do! The neo-conservative aggressive actions and views and ideas of "reality" have no merit Because in REALITY those aggressive actions have in fact and continue to cause BLOWBACK. That is reality dude! It doesn't help any situation to torture which by the way is ILLEGAL – THAT's REALITY. Spare me with the Dick Cheney BS rhettoric calling it "Enhanced Interrogations" lol. Torrture ( including waterboarding which is torture ) is Illegal plain and simple and it is UN American and does not lead to good results. THAT is reality!

2 words MATTHEW ALEXANDER. Google his name and watch some videos of him speaking or read some of this stuff. You will understand the true "Reality" which is why we have the laws against torture. Judge rocks and knows best!

One other thing. If our govt "tortures" then that sets a precedent. Cause then one day YOU might be the one getting tortured lol! Or your kids .. or your wife or someone else who is close to you. THAT is also the reality and why torture is outlawed in this country and rightfully so. If I were president Bush/Cheney and all of them cronies would be in jail.

Why do you keep putting "lol" after everything you type. Is torture funny, or is replying to yourself funny. I don't understand your tone.

And let me explain something to you "Cause then one day YOU might be the one getting tortured lol! Or your kids .. or your wife"

What history book have you read where this wasn't the case. Blowback is one thing. It's another to be oblivious.

It doesn't matter what you do captain happy nuts. You will get your ass tortured and sawed into little pieces in the hands of muslim captors. And before that it was the Japanese. And before that it was the Huns. And before that…

That's REALITY. Grasp a clue. You're happy happy thoughts won't save you. As far as us torturing others, that's up to you. But it has no bearing on a muslim sawing your head off or passing your girlfriend/wife around at a donkey punch party.

So no LOL. FU. Thanks. Being stupid won't save you or your family.

Judge, Love your show and consider it an absolute God-send. Please, please, please, however, stop calling this country our "democracy". The founders saw the error of democracy and you know this too. Critical to the American people's understanding of why we are in so much trouble today is that the 17th amendment to the Constitution converted our nation from a democratic Republic to a democracy and we are beginning to hear the nation's death rattle right now as a result. It isn't important who wrote "A Democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government . . . ", whether it be Alexander Tytler or someone else. It is the Truth! Words express ideas and ideas have consequences. Again, please stop calling our country a "democracy" and apologize for your error in one or more of your shows to come. Respectfully, Bud Goltry, MD
