I wonder what jurisdiction Karl Rove believes he has over Julian Assange? Assange is an Australian national operating out of Iceland. Charging him for publishing something that someone else stole, would be akin to the U.S. DOJ charging a German citizen for smoking pot in Amsterdam.

And yes, Mr. Rove, anyone with a blog IS a media outlet. Get used to it.

Karl Rove is so ARROGANT and CONDECENDING when he talk's about "Blogs" not being legitamate "media" outlets! What a complete A-hole neocon! I wish Judge would have called him out a bit more. Same thing with the 2 liberal ditzes he had on later in the show. Especially the one invoking the 3 clauses which in no way give the federal govt arbitrary power. She needs to read Nullification by Tom Woods. But of couse she won't she's ignorant and so is the other blonde liberal chick. Both of them have ZERO credibility!

  4. Barbara Seligman Said,

Judge, Have we not set a precedent for the legality of this healthcare mandate by allowing the Gov't to order seat belts and cycle helmets to be worn? We didn't challenge these and others and that worries me when it comes to the Supreme Court allowing the states to refuse this law!! We have let our Gov't get it's foot into the door of our Freedoms, I'm afraid!

  5. Loraine Isenberger Said,

    August 8, 2010 @ 10:06 pm

Helmets and seat belts are state required! Health care will be Washington required. I sincerely hope that more states will continue to object to health care by vote or Attorney General/Supreme Court action. Washington is not listening to us. And we pay their salaries. What would happen if we all forgot (like some in Washington) to pay our income taxes.

  6. Carol Said,

    August 8, 2010 @ 10:08 pm

About whether the healthcare mandate is a tax…I thought revenue bills had to originate in the House. And didn't the healthcare bill that was passed originate in the Senate?

    In a one hour show?

  10. liberty_4_us Said,

    August 9, 2010 @ 12:39 am

Good show, but those liberal women really sound incapable of true reason… Congratulations on weekly, and please get the videos onto the iPhone Fox Business app…

  11. Callinyouout Said,

    August 9, 2010 @ 12:42 am

Are you comparing the gov passing the seat belt/helmet law to being told which doctor we can go to for health issues like…heart conditions?

  12. Callinyouout Said,

    August 9, 2010 @ 12:51 am

you must have your head up msnbc's tube. to think the way you do means you can't think for yourself. the past two liberal ladies your pres was happy to welcome in represent exactly what you just mentioned here (i don't believe Mr Rove sits on such a high Judicial seat as those libs do)…but that is okay? Live here and follow Our rules or move somewhere else and change Theirs.

  13. Heywhatdidusay Said,

Judge, You just asked Rove to comment on the constitutionality of his Patriot Act. I bet that felt great (I saw you smile, don't deny it!!) Until we commandeer this conversation away from the likes of Mr Rove, who can't see past Red and Blue, and quit using this as a blunt weapon against the president, It's a states' right/ balance of power issue. To color the conversation as anything else, We are really doing the country a disservice, Keep fighting the good fight.

  14. Callinyouout Said,

Judge, please call out Uberwoman or Mattspews. I think you can put both of them in their place. You vs. them (at the same time) with one hand behind your back. And for dessert, You vs. Coomes.

I’m very pleased to hear you’ll be on every day next week. Now if Fox would make it permanent it would be even better. Your knowledge of what the founding fathers really meant helps so many of us understand what our Bill of Rights, our Constitution and other early source material really means. Please keep up the good fight.
    Best wishes,

Who cares if the system is honored when the system is rotten to the core. Should we expect courts that have forgotten what freedom is about or that it is fundamental to be the way to preserve freedom? The judge knows that people are railroaded by courts and that are jails are full of them who have committed no real wrong. If the Founders were here they would be advocating bloody revolution against this monstrosity. Let us not pretend about this.

Yes, or in your case, for conditions like severe head trauma.

  18. langa Said,

    August 9, 2010 @ 6:47 am

Seriously, you should really get a doctor to check you for head trauma. Seriously.

  19. Jbarna Said,

your comparing state actions to that of the feds. While I believe the states are wrong to do so, they do have more legal standing in those matters, then the Feds mandating health care.

    So what's the point Callyouout?

  21. gordon oppenheim Said,

Judge-I expected more from you. You had the two women on , Monday night-Angel (SP?) and Baulkman (SP?). Do you know what a leading question is? Certainly you do. You made a speech and then asked the women if it was true. How do you expect to get THEIR views if you preceed their answer with a speech,

I do not spend time posting comments on blogs. However, this is the second time I make an exception for Freedom Watch, precisely because it _has been_ so consistently a beacon of liberty. But I fear this is no more. Freedom Watch has clearly changed identity, moving into a "debate" format in which we get to listen to such amoral, political machinists as Gasparino and, now, Karl Rove ??!! Karl Rove calling Assange "a criminal" without the Judge defending him? Why would I want to listen to this, here, on a show about "liberty", when you can get the same to nausea on any mainstream media outlet? Judge, you lost it, Freedom Watch is loosing its identity, the message of true freedom lovers such as Ron and Rand Paul, Rockwell, gets diluted and emasculated by getting mixed with the Roves and others of the same class – and I guess you are about to loose a good part of your best audience… I am sorry. With your libertarian mind set, you should have known that the "means" can kill the purpose, that "expediency" and compromise kill principle, and that station "politics" should not be a factor in your design of the program. If Fox is the culprit, get Freedom Watch out of there: the internet is large, and it is the internet that which launched Freedom Watch in the first place, NOT Fox. Get it out of there.

  24. Charles O Said,

    August 18, 2010 @ 2:29 pm

I like that you have socialists on for their opposing views. Makes for a better program when you and your fredom loving guests shut them down!
