America is Rising!
Awhile back on Meet The Press Bill Clinton and George Bush, discussing Haiti said to put politics aside, to come together.
The Continental Congress 2009 (CC2009) under the realization of Bob Schulz did that. Today citizens from every walk of life and every political persuasion do that, as they come together to try and Stop! our government’s assault on the U. S. Constitution. The CC2009 is like America. We take each other to task. We argue. We admire the accomplishments of others, recall the actions of our Founders and we take pride in our own actions to defend the U. S. Constitution. “We the People”, the Tea Party anomaly and most every other patriot organization are part of a young movement. We have historical ties that bind us together. We do not share the same challenges of our founders as we live in a more complicated world, but we feel the same privilege that God granted to them. Sometimes we cannot explain what it is and often enough we cannot even see it; but we know it exists.

When I left St. Charles in November, I asked Bob Schultz to sign my closing ceremonies program. He did, and added these words above his signature:

"The Constitution is not a menu. The Constitution cannot defend itself." – Bob Schulz (November 21, 2009)

At the link above you can see that thee CC2009 initiative is beginning to be noticed. This video is good, succinct, and very professionally done. The judge is becoming one of my favorite people! And my friend Newton's comments are on the right of the screen.

We started collecting signatures after the CC2009 ended in November. However, we had sort of a minor "revolution" within the body of delegates after the untimely heart problem (fortunately survived!) that struck Mike Badnarik, the President. As a result of that event several well meaning, but in my view wrongly directed delegates took off and formed another "Congress", using a borrowed copy of the Articles of Freedom in the process to promote their efforts. Essentially the copy they promoted and ours is the same. I think they were led by "intense" motivation to "get on with it", and they are still hard at work apparently. God bless them.

On February 3rd I made a note of the signatories to the Articles: 2387. Today, as I write this the count shows: 5334. I have watched this number growing, first at 10 a day, then 20, then 30, and now at nearly 100 per day. Our goal is to encourage a "goodly millions" of Americans to join with the rest of us in espousing our values to the world.

One day our grateful sons and daughters will look back and see that Bob Schulz tirelessly and painfully conducted himself for fifteen years in nurturing, and in leading others, to join with him to defend what is our most precious heritage. God Bless him, and I want to state publicly that attending the CC2009 personally was perhaps the most profound experience of my life, and one I will be eternally grateful to Bob Schulz and those in New Hampshire who sent me for making possible.

It is an internal choice if you accept oppression or to stand against it. But you must know, you must believe, you must lean into the weight of that plow once again to secure the victory. As Abraham Lincoln put it: “The mystic chords of memory, stretching from every battlefield and patriot grave to every living heart and hearthstone all over this broad land, will yet swell the chorus of the Union, when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature”.
It will be a victory shared by all. We the People will be heard November 2010. America is rising!

It is now the time to lift up that voice of “I” the person with that same emotion, that same energy you spend to make your point, that same insistence that you alone know and believe is best and true, that same intelligence you use to articulate facts and knowledge. It is time to channel it into that larger chorus of others, of “We The People”.
Climb down from the podium. Step away from the microphone and put your hands where we can see them outstretched in solidarity.
It was well realized that at the time of our country’s beginning that there was no king among us. Not a leader one. Our Founder’s strength and intellect was a collection of all as they stood undivided!
