I do love the manner in which you have framed this particular situation and it does give me a lot of fodder for thought. Nevertheless, coming from everything that I have seen, I just trust when the opinions stack on that people stay on point and don’t get started on a tirade regarding the news du jour. Still, thank you for this fantastic point and although I do not really concur with it in totality, I respect the perspective.

Half…yes half of all medical costs to an American comes in his or her last year of life. Govt. can cut health care costs in half by letting us die before the last year of our life occurs.

Maybe that's okay. Who needs a last year of pain in a hospital. The whole system sucks.

Clint, Congress has obviously been taking the opposite approach. They prefer to use the words "Living Constitution". That being, the Constitution says whatever they want it to say. Now, they have advanced beyond that point, as the Constitution is completely irrelevant. The GOP is no better, as W famously said "The Constitution is just a damn piece of paper." However, i think I'm done with politics. This is the America that apparently, a large majority want. I mean, we keep electing people who behave this way, it must be what we want. Freedom is frightening. Independence is dangerous, and America is no longer the home of the brave.
