    Cato Institute's Boaz sounded like a progressive. He mis-characterized opposition to immigration by failing to acknowledge it's about ILLEGAL immigration, and the gay movement has no place in the conservative movement. Conservatives don't care if you're gay – we don't want to know that you're gay, either, and we certainly don't want gays to try to normalize homosexuality through state recognition of gay marriage. Marriage is a religious ordinance commandeered by the State.

    Where is Barry Sotoro aka Barak Obama from?
    Has anyone seen his REAL birth certificate?
    Is this Indonesian/Kenya boy an illegal immigrant?
    Where is his birth certificate, we have to show ours and go to jail if we produce a fake, is this guy immune to the law?

    @delquattro

    I agree that marriage has been commandeered by the State – the State should get out of the marriage business entirely and leave getting married to the church.

    I've to confess that sometimes other people get bored by just merely listening an audio podcast like this (though this audio podcast is pretty much informative). You possibly can add some value in it by having a video. This way, people who will visits your site can see and hear Freedom watch. Minisite Design

    I cannot agree more. :) Marriage should be left to the Church. The government must not meddle with matters related to faith and religion. Marriage is sacred and must be kept as such. Thank you for the podcast, it was truly interesting. If you can, add a video here to increase site traffic.

    In the UK, the Government introduced tax allowances and other financial benefits to married couples. They see marriage as an institution to be protected by Government for the sake of strong families and bringing up new generations of ruly citizens.

    My parents are not religious… they eventually got married, not because of a religious faith, but out of love and to demonstrate a committment to each other. It was "humanist" type wedding, not a church one.

    Being married in a Church does not make you good people, law-abiding, or any better than anyone else. Stop Stuttering

    I just wanted to respond to Miky – I don't know who Barry Sotoro is, but President Obama did produce his birth certificate, even the Tea Ba… Party and Donald Trump accepted that, so can you finally now too please? All those "birthers" were so ridiculous, could you imagine people demanding to see President Kennedy's birth certificate? Also, I've got to agree with Lyndsay's comment too; it seems more wrong, war and evil is done in the name of God or a Church these days than there is any good action. You can even be religious but still be unethical.

    This site is so cool. I can’t agree more. Marriage should be at the church. It is indeed once in a life time event and it’s so sacred for the government to meddle. The state should get out of the marriage concerns completely.

    Separation of church and state is there for a reason. I think government should get out of marriage all together.

    Like quotes from movers, the Church and state are separated for a reason. There are issues that only the Church can take charge with. There are too many legal issues that the state has. They should not intervene with the religious-related issues.
