No more Daniel Hannan please. All he keeps saying is my tyranny is worse than your tyranny.

Luv Peter Schiff and Lew Rockwell!

Great lineup, but yeah – we need Schiff back in studio.

great lineup! Hannan is a great outside opinion. Would like to see someone from the Bush or Obama party go on just to see him get owned

It is great to see Daniel Hannan on again to get the European libertarian perspective. I wish Peter Schiff was in the studio (I thought he said he was a regular), or that Lew Rockwell and/or Tom Woods would be joining again, but it will be a great show as always.

BTW, the deal with EU MP Hanon is there exists no forums available in the UK where he can have a fair hearing, 2 minutes on some late night BBC 2 program is hardly enough time to speak and illuminate his point of view.

Please consider having Mike "Mish" Shedlock of Mish's Global Economic Trend Analysis on sometime. Here's a link to his site: http://globaleconomicanalysis.blogspot.com/

I'd love to hear Peter Schiff and Mish Shedlock debate Inflation/Deflation.

    Thanks!

Hannan is great. When he's saying "my tyranny is worse than your tyranny" it's just a concrete example of where we're heading.

Although, he's talking about the UK. If you consider the UK to be analogous to the US, then that's where the US is heading. If you consider the EU to be analogous to the US, the EU is heading where the US is – a centralized government ruling over previously independent states that are being reduced to administrative divisions. Right now, the EU is closer to what the US was supposed to be – but it's heading in the same direction, as governments usually do.

Good show. I disagreed with a number of points, but all of your guests were thoughtful. Daniel Hannan is the best guest. Few people are able to articulate their thoughts so clearly and are so quick to come up with a solid answer. Please keep inviting him back. Ron Paul was also great. I hope you'll consider Fred Thompson and Ted Poe as some other great conservative politicians to have on Freedom Watch.

In response to some things said on the show:

Ron Paul: "They won't cut anything." They will, but the cuts will be to conservative interests. They already cut millions from missile shield defense and production of some of our most versatile jet fighters, at the same time they spent trillions elsewhere. The pay-as-you-go claim isn't just to raise taxes, but to justify undermining conservative programs (albeit, some which deserve to go).

@Hannan: Yes, most voters support cuts… but only in general. Specific cuts are usually met with widespread anger. Americans have been trained to look to government for solutions.

@Gillespie: Marijuana is one thing. Drugs like cocaine and heroine are very different in the public impact. Someone shot up with heroine feels superhuman and disconnected from reality, which can make that person very dangerous (especially with adrenalin pumping through their veins). LSD is also more problematic than marijuana. The "danger to the public argument" is justified and worth exploring.

    To the Honorable Judge Napolitano,

Thank you for the great shows you are doing. This is a great way to educate with a little flexibility. I just saw you on the Glenn Beck show today and the conversation about the Constitution. I am sure you are aware of the Citizen Grand Jury movement that is trying to take back our country county by county, state by state.

Could you please comment on the authority of these self impaneled Grand Jurys under the US Constitution?

Proper Grand Jurys will be formed in Texas with random citizens responding to newspaper ads. They request information from citizens who have information of public officials violating their oath of office. If probable cause is found, they will submit presentments.

There are numerous groups out there trying to make a difference and have a voice. It would be appreciated if you could help out by giving your views on this approach. Please cover the people's concerns in your show. State run media will not do this.

    Thank you

Daniel Hannan is a blessing. He lets us know that we need to take action now or we'll wind up in his country's predicament. There is also the Google effect. How many Europeans search for Hannan and find Freedom Watch? More exposure. I love the show, signed the petition & I'm hopeful our country will get back on track.

    a) Where's the mp3 of this? I only have time to listen to this on my Ipod.

    b) Aaron Miller: no way to Fred Thompson. That guy is not pro-liberty enough. I don't know who Ted Poe is, but if he's anything like Thompson, then no way.

The End of Small Farms, Part II – HR 759 is in committee, worse than HR 875 (the Monsanto bill)…

Our food freedom is under attack! HR 759 has eclipsed HR 875 as a danger to America’s small farmers. Currently in committee (and more likely to pass), NOW is the time to act to stop this threat to our freedom to buy, grow and eat real foods. A vote is…
